Sweet and Spicy Asparagus
A little sweet and a lot of spice. A definite must try!!
INGREDIENTS:
1 pound asparagus
1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
DIRECTIONS:
1 pound asparagus
1 jalapeno, seeded and chopped
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (EVOO)
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Line a baking sheet with foil.
- In a medium mixing bowl or ziploc bag, mix together the chopped jalapeno, brown sugar, and EVOO.
- Add asparagus to the bowl or ziploc bag and coat the asparagus evenly.
- Place the asparagus in a single layer on the baking sheet.
- Bake for approx 15 minutes, turning once during the roasting time.
- Serve warm with your meal.
